Your worth is not determined by whether or not you are the apple of someone else's eye. Any circumstance that's causing you to doubt that probably isn't right for you. In the heat of conflict and just after, these might come up. No one likes getting hurt.

The newer the relationship, the less stress you should tolerate. But it becomes a huge issue when dating someone who is divorced, or going through a divorce. Something that I think is very important to understand is that you should be absolutely clear about what your expectations are when you start out on your quest. In other words, you feel stress about the relationship. Most folks think that stuff is fun.

If someone likes you, they will make time for you. That in itself is way too stressful. So don't stress yourself out because there are enough stressful things when it comes to life, work and love. Just make sure you're not swearing off dating out of fear, but rather, out of care for yourself. This is simple common sense, but for some reason when emotion comes into play, common sense goes out the window. Not always the case, but often a problem. They might just want to sleep around and simply enjoy spending time with a variety of women. The best thing that you can do is be open and honest about things and then follow through with the same actions.
